TEDxSapporo Salon

Summary

Climate change is a major theme that TED has been focusing on since 2020 as part of the TED Countdown, and it is a topic that has been discussed by the TEDx community around the world. Ideas on this theme are provided as video content. This time, we plan to conduct a 2-day hackathon on the theme of “Climate Change” to identify specific issues in this part of Hokkaido where we live, and come up with solutions to these issues, including software, ideas, plans, and proposals. We will then have an opportunity to present these results at a later date.

Application Guidelines

Participation fee: Free (lunch and dinner will be provided)
Target: High school and university students
Capacity: 50 people
Conditions for participation: Must be able to participate in August 5 and 6, 2023.
Selection: Selection will be made after reviewing the contents of the form (questions 8-9)
Deadline: 23:59, Friday, July 14, 2023
Venue: BYYARD (15-4, Kita 5-jo Nishi 11-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo)
Others: Free invitation to TEDxSapporo 2023 to be held on October 29, 2023.
