Akiko Kamio earned her license as a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter after five years of dedication, achieving this amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. This pivotal period inspired her to rethink language and human connections in education. Now, she actively engages in English conversation education, helping individuals connect and communicate effectively.

After graduating from university, he joined NTT, where he worked for 3 years before leaving to pursue a Master of Public Administration at the University of Pittsburgh in the US. Upon returning to Japan, he held marketing positions at Mazda and Fujitsu before launching his own social business. Currently, at Mojo Consulting, he provides consulting and coaching services to NPOs, local governments, and other organizations tackling social issues and community development.

He felt the limit to revitalize the town as a member of the city council. So, he decided his new goal that he makes people smile through agriculture. Currently, he who is a member of Hokkaido Fujii Farm Labo is focusing on sightseeing that takes advantage of local resources like fishing for Japanese pond smelt.
